Victor Habchy

Victor Habchy is a young Frenchman who loves two things: traveling and photography. Thankfully, these days, he’s making a career out of doing both.

Through his playful photography, Victor aims to distill his personal experiences in to romantic, aesthetic artworks. He describes his images as an experiment in light and colour, taken very much ‘in the moment’.

At only 23 years old, Victor is the youngest Imaging Ambassador to join our programme. Stay tuned for more to come from this exciting new talent as we update his profile with all of his latest photographic adventures.

“I love how I can sneak in to big events without authorization with my Sony α7. It’s so small that security always think it’s an amateur camera. Fooled!”

Victor is a young photographer based in Paris, France.

His interest in photography began five years ago, when he got his hands on his first DSLR, an old Sony α100.

Since then, Victor has travelled the world, covering global events including India’s Holi festival and Burning Man festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. His work has been exhibited in numerous international solo and group shows, in locations including Le Moulin Rouge, Ricart Gallery Miami and Switzerland’s Meyer & Kangagi Gallery. His artwork has also earned him commissions with numerous high profile clients including Adobe, Profoto and Région Paris Ile-de-France.

Victor is currently working on his first short film, provisionally entitled Démarrer/Arrêter.

Ever the free-spirit, when asked about his plans for the future, Victor told us that in 2032, he plans to hold a photo shoot in outer space.
