Describe the moment you knew photography changed your life.
To be honest it was not a particular day. It’s more a question of time.
When I started to shoot everyday with my phone, 4 years ago, I didn’t realize that photography had changed, was changing and will change my life. Now my camera is always on. Ready to shoot. Everyday. Every time. Everywhere.
If you could sum up your work in one word or one sentence, what would that be?
Please, get me out of that grid.
What is the most remarkable person, place or thing you have ever photographed and why?
Instantly, I think of a recent photo I took this last summer in Lisboa. I was alone in one of the most crowded streets I know. There’s always someone. But not on that day, not at that moment. Just me.
Talk to us about your bucket list... what is on the top of that list of things to photograph?
Portraits. I definitely want to work with making portraits. It’s an old difficulty for me, as I’ve never really tried anything with portraits. I'd also like to travel considerably more for photography.
Give us your thoughts about the Global Imaging Ambassadors program.
I’m really happy and proud to start this new project. Hope it will help us to make better works, with more exchanges with other photographers. It’s really exciting. Such a level of quality is impressive.
What is your favorite Sony camera of the moment (explain why)?
I’ve only got a Sony Alpha 7 for now. And I really appreciate it. Full-frame is a kind of new way to work for me. And this one is really a good one.
