Svalbard, Norway

The future of arctic life on Svalbard is as uncertain as in other places around the circumpolar Arctic. The impact of climate change is clearly visible through the reduction of the most needed sea ice.

Chris travelled to Svalbard, one of the most remote locations in the world in search of polar bears. He also encountered walruses, reindeer and arctic foxes on this expedition brought him to 81° North in the ice pack.
